This guide has been produced to go through all the steps to create a saved Viewpoint using Layer Sets when using Micromine Alastri Animations.
- In the APS Animation tab saving Viewpoints can be fulfilled via Manage Viewpoint as shown in the figure below:
- The Viewpoint as it appears on the screen can be saved via this menu by clicking the Add button.
- Create a specific name for this viewpoint be selected. Selecting the Update Viewpoint icon, the name field turns to green which means it is saved.
- If there are specific Layers that need to be shown in the same Viewpoint, in the Layers tab click on <Custom> and select Configure Layer Display Setting.
- Click on the Add button, specify a name for the Layer Set, unhide the layers that need to be displayed, and hit OK, as shown below:
- When all layers are set to invisible, select Manage Viewpoint icon, from the Layer Set drop-down menu select the Layer Set created in Configure Layer Display Settings as shown below, then select the Update Viewpoint button. Choosing the Green Arrow icon should now show the current viewpoint configured when required.
- The Viewpoint you have set before and the associated Layer Set will shown on the screen.
Note: If there is no visible layer in the Layer Set and that Layer Set is associated with your Viewpoint, the visible layers will be invisible when you click on that specific Viewpoint.
In the figure below, all layers are visible but when the "Topo" Layer Set (in which only topography is visible and the other are invisible) is selected, other layers will be invisible.
