This guide has been produced to go through all the steps to solve the Clock Tampering error that could potentially appearing when using Micromine Alastri Licensing System.
Below is the potential error that can be detected when the clock on the computer is not the same as the user's current time zone. This detection prevents users from finding a work around expired licenses. For example, if your license expired today, but you set your computer clock to one week ago, then your license wouldn't show as expired.

Solution 1 - Resetting Computer Clock
- Go to Windows settings, type in Date
- Click on Date & Time Settings
- Turn off “Set time automatically”
- Turn off “Set time zone automatically”
- Click “Set the date & time manually”
- Set date to yesterday, leave time the same
- Exit & restart your device
- Go to Settings again, type in Date
- Click on Date & Time Settings
- Turn on “Set time automatically”
- Turn on “Set time zone automatically”
- Click “Sync now” and Exit
Solution 2 - Clearing Window System Logs
- Right click on start and select event viewer
- Expand out Window Logs --> System
- Right click System and Clear Log
