How to export Segments to DXF based on Custom Property

This article covers the process of exporting only specific segments to DXF file using Custom Properties tool in Micromine Alastri Haul Infinity.

Note: The Filter icon provided in each column header is for display purposes only. It helps in filtering the view of segments but does not affect the selection or export of segments. 

1. Create a Custom Property to group segments by the required attribute:

• • • • Tools > Project Settings > Custom Properties > add a Custom Property (ex. "Region") and set a default value (ex. "ExPit").

2. Apply the Custom Property to Segments:

• • • • Select the segments you wish to include in the export.
      • Properties panel > Change the value of the Custom Property for these segments from "ExPit" to "Inpit".
        • • The custom property you created is now accessible and can be displayed as a Segment Label in the Display panel. This will help you easily identify which segments have which property applied to them.

3.  Export segments with the required custom property by filtering out and segments with other property: 

• • • • In the Custom Property column, apply a filter to display only segments you DO NOT want to include in the export (ex. "ExPit):
        
        
        
        

      • Select all segments in the first column ("Use") using the SHIFT key and untick them:
        
        
      • In the Custom Property column, apply a filter to display segments you want to include in the export (ex. "InPit) - they should be ticked in the Use column > these segments will be exported.
