When running the Haulage Configuration setup step in ATS, you may encounter the following error message, which must be resolved in order to proceed further through the project setup and move on to the scheduling:
“The following material types are missing from Haul Infinity Project (Unassigned).”
Reasons:
- Updating parcel(s) in Resmodel, in RR > Block Model setup step.
- Entering a custom value for the gap filling parcel in the RR > Block Model Gap Filling setup step.
- Adding new mining parcel, in the ATS > Known Mining Parcels setup step.
How to resolve:
Check for mismatches between ATS > Reserves tab > Data panel > gear icon > Mutex Parcel Subsets and Haul Infinity > Setup tab > Materials.
- Go to Haul Infinity > Setup tab > Materials > note the material types specified there.
- Go to ATS > Reserves tab > Data panel > gear icon > Mutex Parcel Subsets section > create or review the Mutex Subset you are using to categorise parcels into material groups.
-
- You will see an "Unassigned" subset name for one or multiple parcels.
- Specify the Subset Name for each unassigned parcel to match material types specified in Haul Infinity.
-
- Go to ATS > Haulage Configuration and make sure you selected this Mutex Group as a Haulage Material.
Why it is important:
You may have a lot of parcel types to schedule, but you may only need an "ore" and "waste" truck payloads in Haul Infinity. In order to save on data entry, the Mutex Parcel Subsets are used to map all parcels into a simpler category set, which is then referenced in the Calendar and reports.
