This guide provides a checklist for resolving the "Unable to establish an Internet Connection" error that may appear when logging into the Alastri Hub, even if other desktop applications have internet access.
Error Overview
When attempting to log in, you may encounter the following message:
"Alastri Hub - No Connection", as shown in Figure 1.

Step 1: Test for IPv6 Compatibility
Visit the following link in your web browser to check if your network supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6):
https://ipv6test.google.com
- If the website loads, your network supports IPv6, which may be preventing the Alastri Hub from establishing a connection.
Step 2: Disable IPv6
To force the Alastri Hub to default to IPv4, follow these steps:
- Open the Control Panel
- Navigate to:
Network and Internet → Network Connections - Right-click your active internet connection and select Properties
- In the list of items, uncheck:
Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) - Click OK to apply the changes

Step 3: Restart Alastri Hub
Once IPv6 is disabled:
- Restart the Alastri Hub
- The connection will now default to IPv4, which should allow successful login
